concious

concious is a newcomer techno artist from Northern Germany. Altough he deliveres brutal baselines and razor-sharp percussion he always puts a focus on heart-melting melodies and thrilling harmonies. concious’ music is an emotional journey but will also make your feet stomp the dance floor. Since the start of the pandemics the 28-year-old was able to focus on his music instead of his real job as the tour manager for German DJ and producer Felix Jaehn. The result is a hardrive full of music ready to be released. The releases of early 2022 together including EPs with GermanTechno legend Tom Wax already gained him placements in theSpotify playlists Techno Bunker and Electronic Rising.

Nick Schwenderling

Nick Schwenderling was born in 2001 and started playing the keyboard at the tender age of six. At the age of seven he already wrote his first song. Since his parents encouraged his passion for music early on, he also attended piano and drum lessons. This was followed by several performances as a solo artist, keyboard player in bands and as a DJ. After getting in touch with German musician Boris Brejcha via Instagram in 2019, he recorded a piano version for one of his songs, which was subsequently released. In the course of this, Nick also started producing music himself, posting his own piano covers of popular songs on Instagram.

After graduating from school, Nick plans to study music production in addition to more releases. His love for music is his way of expressing himself and knows no genre boundaries. Another special feature also distinguishes Nick:

Nick has a hearing impairment and yet he manages to produce music with it. He does not wear an ordinary hearing aid, but a bone conduction system called BAHA (Bone Anchored Hearing Aid). He is probably the only talent in the world who even produces his own songs with this system and Yellow Kitchen is incredibly proud to have this musical prodigy signed at the label.

Fifty Five

The first artist of the label Yellow Kitchen, FiftyFive, was born in 1955 and took this date as inspiration for his stage name. Rüdiger Brejcha, as his real name is, first discovered his musical vein as a choir singer during several school performances in high school. Already in his youth he discovered his love for drums. This was shaped and reinforced by bands such as "Grand Funk Railroad," "Santana," "Ten Years After," "Emerson, Lake and Palmer" and "Genesis."

Due to his family situation, however, drumming at home was only possible on cooking pots and pillows. It wasn't until he was 30 that he was able to really live out his love for the loud and rhythmic instrument and promptly became part of a show band that performed at various events. He liked to present his mostly self-taught skills. After 20 years of band experience, FiftyFive had to give up his passion for family reasons. Now, in his senior age, Rüdiger starts a new musical beginning with electronic music. He himself says: "The love for music accompanies me all my life." In the meantime, he has released his first release on Yellow Kitchen in 2022: "The Road To Myself".
